Bookkeeper: Project Based Guru with Quickbooks Experience (Part-time)
Ke. Creative Events Management is seeking a Part Time Bookkeeper who is highly proficient in Quickbooks, working with our Director, will manage aspects of finance for this business, a leader in the event industry.
What the role invoves:
This role involves providing support to our Director through event budget reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, data entry and administrative support. A key understanding of project based accounting is required for this role.
The opportunity is based on two days a week in the Melbourne office. This is not a full-time role. Hours are flexible i.e. can be done over 3 days.
Annual salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 plus super pro-rata
The successful candidate should have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have agency experience or an understanding of the fast-paced, project-based world in an event agency or similar.
Please do not apply if you are not experienced in using Quickbooks including time sheet integrations, receipt integrations etc.
Key responsibilities will include:
Management of accounts payable and receivable; checking costs against multiple individual budgets;
Management of corporate credit cards / stripe accounts
Assistance with monthly P&L reporting to CEO (including event budget reconciliation) against individual event projects
Management of multiple event projects – checking in with Account Managers on project expenses and income
Cash flow forecasting across various event projects
Fortnightly payroll under Awards, superannuation compliance
Maintain the asset register
On-site administration and accounting/bookkeeping;
Support with month end/year end process
Administrative support and ad hoc tasks
To be successful you must have:
The ability to confidently use Quickbooks, including integrations for time sheets, receipts
Excellent attention to detail in order perform the role with a high degree of accuracy
An understanding of the general workflow of accounting systems
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role
The ability to work autonomously and part of a small team
Excellent understanding of accounting against projects
Excellent written, communication and time management skills
A right to work in Australia without restrictions
