Australian Corporate Treasury Association (ACTA) Annual Conference

Summary:

The 36th Annual Australian Corporate Treasury Association (ACTA) Conference, with the 2024 theme “Evolution & Revolution: Enhancing Treasury Value,” was held at the Manly Pacific in NSW from Wednesday 22nd to Friday 24th May, 2024.

This in-person-only event provided a unique platform for ACTA Members and the broader treasury community to connect and engage face-to-face with industry colleagues and vendors.

Over the course of 2.5 dynamic days, more than 300 delegates, sponsors, and industry leaders gathered to explore the latest trends and innovations in the treasury field. The atmosphere was electric with energy, as participants exchanged insights, fostered new connections, and celebrated the evolution and revolution of treasury value.

Background:

A longstanding client, Ke. have worked with the ACTA since the early 2000’s, supporting the marketing and events endeavours of the association. With a small core team and broader committee, the association engages the Ke. team primarily to produce the annual industry conference.

Highlights:

New features were introduced for 2024 to innovate the event, including:

  • Fishbowl session – a dynamic and engaging program feature, providing a platform for everyone to contribute their expertise and address any pressing questions they are keen to explore,
  • Our team worked closely with the venue to provide a healthy and unique menu for the first day – kudos to the Manly Pacific team for the collaboration,
  • Hour of Power sponsored networking activity,
  • Engaging a professional MC for the opening plenary – raises the atmosphere and sets the vibe for the rest of the event.

The event and venue were well received by attendees and stakeholders, with resounding enthusiasm for the 2025 event.
